Was feeling on top of the world this morning thought I had finally conquered the habbit but the nagging voice is back urging me to smoke - agitated at the moment and the demon voice is telling me "smoke and you feel better"

Rose,
You know that smoking isn't gonna make it any better.
Ride it out and eventually it will get better, I promise

Hey Rose
Barney's right, the only thing that will happen is you'll feel worse, because you'll have lost your quit. It is very hard, I know, but if you can get through the bad patches, every time you do, the next bad patch becomes easier to cope with. I don't know if it will help, but when I felt like having a cigarette (just one, you understand), I asked myself "Do you want to smoke 20 cigarettes a day for the rest of your life?" Because that was the choice as I saw it. I know from past experience one cigarette always leads to another, and before you know it you're back on 20 a day or whatever.
Also, hold on to the thought that it really does get easier. The good days start to outnumber the bad days, the no smoking days start to mount up, the amount of money saved becomes quite a tidy sum in no time, and you feel so proud of yourself for being strong and determined.
Be strong, and good luck,
xx
Come on, your doing great
Those pesky nicotine monsters are just being a pain in the butt
Grab a book and go get in the bath!
Keep it up, it will all be worth it
Think the moment has passed - it's a killer when the demon sneaks up on you when you least expect it

Demons can attack when you least expect. Stay strong and bash them where it hurts when they try and get the better of you.
Thanks for all the support guys tomorrow is another day and it's looking brighter already

It is a welcome relief when the demons take a night off isn't it?
Keep strong Rose and give your hubby a hug

How funny and a very "british" (no offence! ;))thing to say!
So true though - I feel like whistling as I bounce into work on mornings like these.
Blue skies and lighter mornings do us the world of good!
Hi rose, glad you are feeling a bit better today.
You could always do some boxercise if your feeling down or even just throw a couple of punches at the air, but imagine its one of those huge cigs form the stopping smoking ads and punch him straight in the face!!
