Can someone post the link for the counter thingey....and some idiot instructions please?
Hi linlin, I think the quitmeters are really useful as a quick way to see how well you are doing with your quit. They give you new milestones, like "I've saved £200" or "I've not smoked 500 cigs" - all helps with the motivation.
This is a link to the one I use:
dedicateddesigns.com/qk/dow...
which gives this info:
I have been quit for 1 Month, 2 Days, 21 hours and 45 minutes (33 days). I have saved £175.96 by not smoking 678 cigarettes. I have saved 2 Days, 8 hours and 30 minutes of my life. My Quit Date: 04/01/2008 11:45
You can change the text of the message, and there are loads of quitmeters out there to choose from. Just google for Quitmeter
Thanks CK Trev - maybe I can do techie things  just downloaded it - 90 days today! cigs not smoked 1802, cash saved £482, life saved 6d 6h 10m (what is this last thingey?). Think I'll save using the hotkey for the mo - wouldn't want to rush into things!
linlin,
You can normally paste you stats onto your post automatically by pressing 'Ctrl' + 'F12' when your quitkeeper is open.
life saved 6d 6h 10m (what is this last thingey?).
As far as I can make out, if you take the statistic that every cigarette you smoke shortens your life by 5 minutes, it works out that you will live 6 days 6 hours and 10 minutes longer by not having smoked those 1802 fags
