I want to stop because I'm fed up of something so patently stupid ruling my life. It's cost me thousands of pounds that I could have used in a much more positive way, I want to be able to walk upstairs without feeling like i've run five hundred yards.

I've lost count of the holes I've burnt in my trousers when I've had a few beers too!

hi Dave good for you I see those holes on my husband and it makes me sooo mad and I have been a smoker since i was 12 it just bugs me that he could let that happen,I dont mean to get down on you but I'm happy you quit.

Thanks for the good wishes. I'll keep you posted on how I get on with that DVD. It arrived today and I plan to watch it tonight.
