Day 11 and really struggling ...

I can't believe how up and down I am ... one day I'm almost euphoric to today I'm feeling really low. Day 9 I thought I'd got over the worse but now I feel lower than I have throughout giving up smoking :confused:

Have others experienced this at all?

Yes, I think we all have. Its difficult, but I am sure that you can be strong enough to get through it. Do you feel better in yourself now that you have quit? I sometimes feel that I dont feel any different, but I am less breathless, and the sense of taste and smell are getting better. I also dont want to go back to day 1 again. You can do it, you know you can.

I think mentally I'm feeling much better ... silly things like not having to fret because I smell all smokey when I give me little ones a hug makes all the difference. However for the passed 5 days or so I've had a terrible feeling/taste in my mouth/throat ... like i've eaten the contents of an ashtray, which doesn't make you feel great!

I think it's taken me by surprise, I've been feeling so strong and positive up until now and now I just feel really low ... I don't even think I want to smoke ... strange really!!!

Thank you for your encouraging words certainly helps a lot when you're not feeling 100% ... hope you're having a good day
