Hi all, just thought I'd post a quickie before I return to the mountainload of flagged items in my inbox ... at work at the mo ... How's everyone doing? It's Day 14 for me and off to see the nurse tonight for a Champix check-up, having some probs with side effects now, particularly nausea, so might have to drop the dose or something, will see what she says tonight. Otherwise doing really well, weekends are still tough but getting slightly easier ... another one looming but made action plans to keep busy :D.
Anyway off to do some xmas shopping in Leeds on Sat with my very non smoking daughter, so that should be fun, looking forward to that then think I might set to and make a sticky parkin on Sunday ready for my bros bonfire party next weekend ... I know its a bit early but it'll freeze ... haven't made one for a while so hope it turns out OK :o.
One thing I enjoy doing now is thinking of places I want to go visit and not have to worry about cigs and where to smoke and to feel free to get on any length of flight ... sorry not very carbon footprint but need some enjoyment in life ... like Aussie, before I would have been hanging from the cabin roof by my finger nails just thinking about going without a smoke for that length of time, but no more haha :D.
Sorry getting carried away now, must stop rambling and get back to work. Good luck to everyone on their quits. Be back soon.

I know what you mean about doing thing you couldn't enjoy before, as a smoker that is. I used to hate going to cinema and avoided it at all costs. I love it now I've been more in the last 2 months than i have in the 10 years before i quit.
Shopping hasn't changed though hated before I quit, hate it now and will hate it always. Its defo a woman thing I think lol.

You don't know what you're missing you two, shopping's great, you haven't lived unless you've been crushed to death in the middle of Primark on a Saturday afternoon .
I guess I'm 1/2 and 1/2 I do like going to the malls, but I dont like the rude crowds at holiday time. Why do so many people act as if they aren't allowed to buy a single gift before the day after thanksgiving? Do I want to get up at 4am and stand in the cold and sometimes rain to save a few bucks? or stay in bed? LOL I opt for bed, but to keep in the theme with the holidays I KNOW what I'll be thankful for this year.............NO MORE SMOKING!! I"M FREE!!! we are ALL FREE!!
