That's it.......I quit!!!

Decided to go ahead and smoke the last pack I had, even though I felt sick with each one!

So.....had the last one this afternoon at 2.30pm. Feeling ok so far, but it's tonight I'm a bit worried about. That my time for smoking the most, while I'm at the PC. So I might just crack on with my cross stitching to keep my hands busy.

Thank you to everyone for my welcome the other day x

  • Great!

Now you have to keep yourself from buying another pack! I cannot tell you how many times I wanted to get in the car and buy another pack. I kept telling mysef that if I did I woulden't just smoke 1, it would be the whole pack. That was the last thing I needed. I even went across the street to a smoking neighbors house to bum one. She talked me out of it, and then I went into a total meltdown crying over something else that had been bugging me all day. I felt like a total idiot but I didn't smoke. Whatever it takes to get there just do it! (even if you look or act like an a**! Who cares! I don't anymore cause I got through it.:)

I am sure you can do it.

  • Best of luck Tracey x

  • Yay Tracy congrats on your decision!! I too, like you, feared the evenings at the pc the most! I used to spend a lot of time at the pc during week nights, mug of coffee and smoking the evening away while happily watching tv shows and reading forums about, why yes , tv shows :p Well guess what, now I do exactly the same things, minus the smokes ;) I was miserable for the first couple days, too busy obsessing over ciggies and thinking life was never, ever going to be the same - then I realized life was indeed going to be the same, I had only given up smoke, no need to give up my hobbies and everything that had made me happy before :D It was a revelation...that I could stay smoke-free and still do all those smoke-related things!

  • WELL DONE TRACY!!!

    Wooo Hooo

    You took the dive ;)

Cross stitch is a great way to keep busy!

Good for you, best of luck x x x x
