weird feeling!!!!!

Hi everyone

Well I've made it to day 2.I have the most weird feelings at the moment different to my other quits.

1. I don't feel deprived this time.

2. I haven't got any overwhelming urges to go to the shop for a pkt of fags like I've had in the past.

This champix is good stuff I reckon.

Glad you have made it to day two. I'm dreaming of day two. I havn't tried the new fangled quit grugs, but glad to hear you are going strong with them. I used nicotine lozenges, which kept me away from the fags for a month. I found it easy not to smoke during that time, but equally easy to go back to smoking when my guard was down and a good excuse came along.

These first few days are always the hardest as you are mentally getting to grips with the changes in your life and often facing the demons which caused you to smoke in the first place.

Be Proud Kazza - you have made the decision to stop and each day that passes is one you will never ever have to revisit. So at the end of today Day 2 is gone and finished.

Aw Poppy thanx so much. Do you know I really think I will do it this time. Scrub that I KNOW I will do it this time. I feel so different this time around not sure why- the champix plays a big part I know but I just feel this is so right. Hubby hit it on the head when he turned round and said "no-one could ever accuse you of giving up trying" It occurred to me that when I had previously quit and then failed miserably- I would immediately look for a new way of quitting. In other words although I was back smoking I was absolutely hating it.Maybe now I'm just sick of TRYING TO QUIT so I'm just GONNA QUIT AND HAVE DONE WITH IT
