Don't see this as a repeat of last time, see it as a step further using the lessons you learnt from previous attempts. They're all learning experiences, not failures. Stopping is a difficult process and hardly anyone manages first time.
You've spotted the danger signs before you give in and you're taking steps to make sure you stay stopped - I'd say that's pretty good going!
I second that!!
Going back to champix is a very wise thing if you are using it to progress forward x x x x
Anything that keeps you from smoking!!
Good for you for learning through your experiences x x
Stay strong Justin x x

Its Not A Failure
i have tried to give up over the last 10 years at least a dozen times.
the most days before this was about 22 days but the ciggies pulled me back.
i totally agree that should you start smoking again just ask yourself how did the ciggie pull you back to the habit this time?.
we all learn in the end and for me i found the easiest way to stay off smoking was to call myself all the names under the sun until i grew tired of my own voice but by that time the craving had passed.
so just hit day 52 as a non smoker and yes it does get easier.
My best day so far.Had half pill this morning and no craving since.Gone back to feeling relaxed and can concentrate again, also feel more happy .Now i really think i can stay a none smoker and my confidence is back.I feel so relieved because the way i was feeling i was thinking that i might as well smoke if it keeps getting worse.Day 36 into quit and back on champix and this time i will stay on it

I'm worried about coming off the little blue fellas.
Even though I don't want to smoke I still get that feeling that somethings missing and champix is (partially) filling the gap.
I've asked to keep going but the good old NHS cant fund it.
The only thing is whether you might have horrible side effects if you start taking them which you can put up with when you are at the desperate stage of needing to stop, but when youve stopped for so long would it be put-uppable-with? I think it proably needs some proper advice rather than us users (in the nicest sense of the word).

i am thinking of asking the doc for a low dose of champix
i don't know what to do for the best
Arghhhh I feel awful x x
I fled the forum because of my own crap and missed this x x x x
