I can't believe I made it to day 4 without any withdrawal symptoms and without feeling miserable. This is by far the easiest way to give up. I have had no side effects when taking Champix (apart from feeling sick if I take it on an empty stomach).
Went out for dinner to celebrate me being a non-smoker which was great. Now have to watch my figure a little as I did put on about 1/2 stone in 2 weeks.
Has anyone wondered about the long-term effects on taking Champix? I am thinking that I will get one more box for 1 month and then get off as I am worried about staying on it too long.

I am on day 46 Using Champix and i am doing great hardly any pangs now.
Beware of coming off Champix to early when they trialed it in the USA a lot of people just stopped taking it after the 12 weeks and many of them returned to smoking. but i have spoken to people who have stopped taking the Champix before the 12 weeks were up and they have been fine and still not smoking depends on the individual. So its up to the individual to make that decision
