OMG its the weekend

Well the first 4 days seemed a breeze but now its the weekend, my first smoke free weekend :eek: Its only morning but it feels harder already. I think I'm gonna go and and lock myself in a dark room and not come out til Monday. Somebody send me the doughnuts please

Day 6 for me so first smoke free weekend too. The stress for me is having hubby and teenage lads all here all weekend.....no space, no peace. Oldest lad is trying to quit too, well cut down, as he is broke and I don't smoke so he can't borrow off me. He's pacing around like a caged lion and nothing is more stress inducing to me than someone pacing and standing just behind me looking over my shoulder all morning...argghhh!

He did comment on how much more relaxed I was earlier, I made a joke and laughed which apparently I haven't done all week.:cool:

Good luck to you all. I'm better having my weekends at home, cause I don't smoke in the house and it raining, means I wouldn't want to stand outside. If your going out, just think of the benefits of not standing in the awful weather.

Yippee, I made it through Saturday including the pub. This morning (Sunday)I went to the local market and bought enough biscuits, sweets and cakes to start my own shop. Should last me till the morning.:rolleyes:

Yes, the ban is a real help. There is very little temptation. There were only a couple of smokers that went outside for a puff. I've already noticed my throat feels much better in the mornings now. It was aways like I'd swallowed a sheet of sandpaper but now its quite nice.

My first weekend was really tough but its getting easier now (weekend number 3). Ive even been to the gym this morning! (before I stopped, hadn't been since last september).

Ive just discovered how much nicer Quavers taste these days which might have been a mistake as the multipack is nearly empty.

Ive bought the new Harry Potter so that will keep my mind occupied for a bit.

Keep going everyone, just think how great you will feel when your work collegaues tomorrow go (still stopped?) with a smirk on their faces and you can breathe on them without first having eaten half a packet of extra strong mints to mask the smell.
