I 'am a very active 78 year old living in Florida. Play alot of pickleball and some golf. About to see my primary care doctor soon. I suspect that he will confirm i have CKD. Based on his referral of me to a Kidney doctor this week. My last blood test showed my gfr was 50 and Creatinine was something like 170+. Trying to be proactive and get a handle on this. Assume a good pro kidney diet can improve these numberts a bit. Have an opportunity to possibly choose the Mayo clinic in Jacksonville, Fl. Does anyone have any experience with this clinic?
This is all new to me but, any suggestions how to navigate this situation would be much appreciated. Thanks
