ckd and menopause supplements

I have stage 3 ckd in my one remaining kidney. Unf just hit menopause, but concerned about taking supplements as many are classed as protein which is a bit of a no no. Has anyone got any advice?

Just a mix of natural supplements and potentially collagen.

I take raw tumeric as a hot daily.you can get them mixed with ginger,or beetroot etc

The amount of protein in the ingredients of such supplements eg soy bean extract, is likely to be relatively tiny and protein is important during menopause for various reasons. At least for stage 3 ckd like you and my mum (both also with 1 kidney), its possible/likely that dietary protein is overplayed too ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...
