My take on a Cesar salad (154 cal) tasted yummy (serves one)

Modify as you see fit - add croutons / bacon and salad bits (I had no bacon or croutons or Parmesan cheese etc)

Mix yogurt with the mustard and drizzle over the salad

Generic - Cucumber, 40 g 6 cal

Lettuce, green leaf, raw, 50 g 8cal

Yeo Valley Organic - Natural Low Fat Yogurt, 15 g 9 cal

Fresh - Onion, 20 g 8 cal

Chicken Breast Skinless, 68 g 112cal

mustard - djon, 7 g 11cal

total 154cal

  • It was only when I was posting that I realised I had forgotten the Parmesan cheese shavings - would have made it even better :)

  • That sounds nice cracker10 might give that a go over the weekend, but add either bacon or the Parmesan cheese.

  • I would quite easily have added both, but I had no bacon and totally forgot about a few shavings of Parmesan - yes it would up the calories but depending on how much you add still wouldn't be too much for a meal :)

  • you could try crushing a wholemeal ryvita into the salad it is really nice and gives it some bulk
