Oh dear

Well lost 1lb last Monday and dreading weigh in tomorrow. Not done so well on the fruit and veg these last couple of days but have been within my limits on the calories. Managed to walk everyday and been on my feet more at work. Did a lot of running last week and even completed The Race for Life last Sunday and lost a lb. Will post tomorrow come what may on the scales. Feeling gloomy.

  • Hi SJ70 losing 1 - 2 lbs per week is really good so well done to you. My average is 2 lbs per week and I am really happy with this. Some weeks it's a lb some weeks it's 2 lbs other weeks but not often it's 3 slow and steady is what will get you there in the end I've been doing this now for 28 weeks and have lost 58 lbs in total so those numbers are good numbers. Be patient and focus on the end result and you will succeed in reaching your goal. Good luck for tomorrow and what ever happens be proud because you are making positive changes in your life :-)

    I must confess I weigh on a Friday as despite my best intentions weekends aren't being quite as successful for as I would like. Still maintaining a steady loss though :)

  • Well I actually got on the scales with my eyes closed. I couldn't believe it when I had lost 3lb making it a stone altogether in 8 weeks. What made it even better was when a colleague asked me what I was doing because I looked so well. You can't ask for better than that. From being gloomy yesterday to on top of the world today. Thank you everyone for your support it is very, very much appreciated. Xxxx
