for August 12th!
Another 2 months of sitting on my broken butt.
I think I can do this.π π
That's him on the right.

wow! surprised at the delay. Are you able to hobble around at all at this point or supposed to stay off your feet completely?
Me too! Nope, can't put weight on it yet and he said my leg is an inch shorter. That is my "good" leg too, so I've got to get something done.
If I had broken the hip on my MS-y leg, I might not have had anything done as it needs to be taught a lesson for being such a jerk.πππ
Are they going to do the surgery by going through the front or the back of the hip? My husband had double hip surgery and they went in the back of the hip. There is little to no cutting of the muscles, and he went to severe pain before surgery, to zero pain after surgery. His recovery was very quick as well. That was 7 years ago. I hope that your surgery and recovery is as successful as his was. π€
Thanks, that's good to hear he's doing well.
They're going in through the front.
After recovery, did your hub regain full mobility? My concern is bending at the potter's wheel.
Yes, full mobility. They discourage things like jogging, sitting Indian style, but thatβs about it. He did do PT and that is key because they show you how to do things that help and not hurt.
That is good news.
Hopefully, your husband understands, Β falalalala ! π Just teasing!
why so long and are they doing an ORIF or hip replacementβ¦if Iβm too nosy, ignore π€ͺ
That, I do not know. He's a very busy kid! π It surprised me too.
He wants to do a partial hip replacement. It's a compression fracture at the femoral neck.
I guess busy means he's popular and in demand because he's good π
Or he'll be on vacation at the Betty Ford Clinic.
Ya never know!π€£
wow! Iβm sorry you have to wait so long! I also hope you do good during sx and before!
it is weird. I agree
Sorry you have to wait so long, but having a date can be better than being in limbo. Best of luck to you! β€οΈ
I misread better than doing the limbo! ππ³
π€£ That's hilarious. It's funny how sometimes misreading or mishearing things makes them funnier. The limbo was fun when we were younger, but I don't think it wouldn't be too fun now! π
Oh no! So sorry to hear you have to wait so long! Maybe you can be plugged in earlier if the surgeon has any cancellations? Ortho surgeons are always trying to fit extra people in the schedule, lol! Iβm an OR nurse and in on these surgeries frequently. Youβll feel so much better after surgery! Keep us posted π
Looks like he's eager to fix you up! An adjustment or two, a bit of pruning, a tap here and there and off you'll go. And since he'll be doing topiary work all July, by August he'll be at the top of his game.
Wow! Sorry you have to wait so long, but rest on your broken but and stay cool. Hopefully, afterwards you'll be pain-free.
Thank you for the humor.
