Hello everyone! Hope you guys had an awesome Easter. 🥰 Mine started off slow after hosting an Easter Egg hunt and pageant for the kids at church. I worked hard all week so I was hurting on Easter! However, I managed 2 make it to church!
As I type this, I am getting my weekly infusion of vitamins and minerals. I know some folks are worse off than I am; however, some days I just want 2 scream and shout that I am tired of living with MS! I am a smiler! I smile thru the good and the bad, the ups and the downs. 🤷🏾♀️ No one truly know what’s behind the smile. Some days are truly rough and I feel like MS is winning. I do aquatic therapy, weekly infusions, take herbal supplements , and the list goes on + on!
Yesterday, I had a 2 hr MRI which literally exhausted me! I also need a knee replacement on what was my good leg! 🤦🏾♀️ I overcompensated by using it more when I was diagnosed in14, now it’s bone on bone! I need 2 know if any of U had knee replacement surgery and what was the outcome? I need 2 hear from someone in my situation. Sorry 4 ranting! I try to smile everyday despite my trials. Sending hugs! I haven’t had any knee replacement, lexsarset , but I am sure someone in this forum has and will share their experience with them. You have a beautiful smile and I am happy that you had a blessed Easter. Thank you for sharing with the forum. 🤗
Hi lexsarset glad your easter was good. Mine was 2 a nice quiet day after church. Stopped picked up chicken dinner from KFC then had a nice nap & quiet afternoon. I have not had a knee replacement but I understand the bone on bone I have it in my hands & they don't do hand replacements yet! I will pray for you & your surgery to be successful & a speedy recovery. Mary
No knee surgery but what a beautiful dress 👗. My brother doesn’t have ms but he had both knees replaced in 2008 and was back playing racket all 10 months later. He had one replaced again last year as I think he has wore them out after 15 years. He’s 73 years old now and the second one not so good ☹️. Good luck and hopefully everything works out for you 🙏🤗
I hate to echo everyone else, but it just doesn't seem fair that you can wear both yellow and circles and look so pretty! If I tried that, I'd be a washed-out blimp.
My dad had knee surgery at 42 after a car accident, but they botched something, he developed sepsis, and they had to do it again. He walked with a limp for the next 40 years and had frequent pain, but I'm assuming that the procedure has improved a lot since then.
Lady! I want you to come and sort out my wardrobe! I have no sense of style and could use some help! You are very stylish, all with a smile on top. Good for you!
oh honey you are looking good for all of the children and the parents that will be at church with all of your hard work ...they truly will enjoy the day ..so proud of you doing this for everyone to enjoy the day ,not too many would for they always think (oh someone else will do it ,not to worry )..so sad use to be everyone jumped in to help ...so glad you were one of them for my babies are all grown up and there babies are growing up way to fast and live along ways away so i can't see all of this joy ....loves and much happiness...yes there are days that we want to let it win but just sit and take a breather ...loves....
