Smile it's good for you!

Wow, this picture from Hubble telescope of the monkey head nebula sure makes me feel small. However made me think a little bit on even on my really tough days where I can't do much other than occupying my recliner. We are all riding a rock being hurled through space on our trip around the sun at 67,000 mph. All the while rotating at 1000 mph! Ok everybody, keep your paws off that emergency stop button cause we will all fly off! So even on a slow day, we are moving at a crazy speed! Hey, here is another thought if we could find a terrestrial body similar to our own at half the mass moving and rotating at half the speed even with this MS monster we would all be supermen and super women! Hmmmm.... now where did that Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy go!!! Need to catch a ride! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚πŸ€£ hope y'all are hanging in there ok today.

Thoughts and prayers,

Allen

It really is! When you look at it long enough and realize some of the points of light are snapped funny, well those are other galaxies!

I can't even comprehend the vastness.

Wow Allen5280 thats incredible. In an unusual way, it’s quite peaceful to look at. Thank you. I take it the Ocrevus didn’t do anything this time round. Are you ok? Blessings Jimeka πŸ¦‹ 🍫

It really is quite amazing. The master artist, master engineer and it all has a purpose! To think that's just a tiny little piece of it too! I am doing much better with my infusion this time around, I have been off for a different reason this time. I ha d been online a lot with videos and learning about different things and used up my data allotment. I do have unlimited data but I only have a limited amount of high speed then it goes to snail speed and won't do much cause even the adds don't load right and it's really frust4ating when I can read posts but when I try and reply it takes forever and a day to reloaad the pages. So I read as many posts as I could but responses were very limited. I'm back up and going again. 😁

Allen5280 ....Have you ever seen the photos of earth taken by former astronaut Terry Virts during his travels in space? You would enjoy them...they are amazing. I was fortunate enough to go to a lecture he did not long ago sponsored by National Georgraphic. The talk was fascinating but his photos were awesome.

Raingrrl , I just did... 😁 they are pretty amazing at that! I liked the ones of the northern lights, it's pretty fascinating. They are all pretty much so. I like his sense of humor as well!

I know it! If you get to cold you could just move closer to a star, and to hot just move a little farther away! 🀣

Allen5280 Truly an awe inspiring view of the cosmos. Thank you for posting it along with your thoughts about our ultimate insignificance. You help me to reflect on how blessed we are to be clinging to life on our tiny planet, and reminding me to take the best care possible of our orbiting rock and all the creatures sharing it. Again, many thanks.

goatgal , I know what you mean with the awe inspiring! To think that's just one small section of space in the Orion constellation where star formation is taking place. Completly unfathomable by this small mind of mine, the true scope of our universe!
