Meeting with new neurologist

He said I have some mild ataxia and he wants to go over my old MRI and get a full MRI since my old one is 5 years old.

He seemed confused as to why the old neurologist never kept up with MRIs or investigation of the possible white matter disease diagnosis.

Sounds like the new doctor is doing things right. Comparing old MRI'S with new it will give him the best information to work from. It sounds like you made a good change. Good luck on the outcome.
