I've not been too bad! Been a bit of a busy weekend 😅 Fri, when husband came home from work, we went to watch Deadpool and Wolverine. We hadn't bought the tickets yet, so the only 2 seats together were on the front row. The fact that they reclined and had tables you can move towards you made it 100* more worth it! Then Sat. Husband got a call from his dad telling him to get ready to get the paving slabs for the back garden put down, then after we had a small party at ours for our friend's birthday 🫶 there was me, husband, my bestest friend, her husband (also our friend), and the birthday girl. She's only young, being 21 against our late 20s/early 30s 🤫 she's been cut off from her family for simply being transgender 🙄 so obviously she didn't have any 'happy birthday's from her family. That was a fun night! I had songs playing through our Alexa in the living room (where we were) and having a laugh! Then Sun comes round. My sis wants us to visit, because she can't get down to us because her partner (her driver) was working all weekend, and she wanted something to take her mind off what their twin, 3 y/o lads were doing. To be fair, they were just watching tv or playing on their pads, but when we came in, one of them was pointing at me, saying, "aunty Charlotte!" But then pointing at my husband, saying, "aunty Charlotte!" My sis tried correcting him, but my husband just laughed and accepted it as his "new" name 🤣 like me and my sister call our nanna, "nanna mange," and our great aunt, nanna's sister, as, "uncle Rarah," because, when I was really young, I couldn't confidently say, "aunty Sarah." My family's funny with nicknames. You call someone by their nickname, and they all know who you're talking about 🤣🤣🤣

I try my best to do stuff! Well... actually... it's my husband and best friends that have me do stuff with them 🤷‍♀️ they accommodate to whichever mood and mobility I'm in that day, just so I'm not being left out of their adventures 😅 I'm doing that for the rest of the week, I think 🤔 I bought some movies to watch on Prime video, and when my carer comes, we may sit together and watch a film! Had yesterday's carer watch the 1st Deadpool movie with me, after she had done the "housework" and we had a chat. She's 50 odd, and has never watched a "modern" superhero movie! You'd think her children and grandchildren would have had her watch them with her, but I don't think they know how much of a nerd she secretly is 😏 I don't need a carer for stuff like normal carers do. It's just for someone to talk to when my husband's at work, and leaves the house at 8, coming back home at 6, and then it's just me, alone, for 10 hours every Mon-Fri. It's just a bit of socialising really. Like a Sim (if you've ever played The Sims games), where their social bar gets dangerously low 😅

Play a game of "The Sims," a video game originally made by Maxis, but now its done by EA. The characters you play have a social need, just like hunger, hygiene, sleep, etc.

And I know! There was a period of time where I felt like killing myself because my husband was out of the house, commuting and working every Mon-Fri, and I was alone (we don't have kids or avaliable family/friends nearby for them to keep me company). I've now got carers, who'll try to do the "care" stuff, but it's mostly just someone to have a chat with. I know they love having me because I'm "easy" 🤣

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I won't do! Thankfully, my hubs listens to me... even when I come out with bad ideas 🤣 he vetos them sometimes, but he's happy when we get the result we wanted! Like the time we'd just moved in to our own home. I asked for a hammer drill for my birthday, because I know the bricks for this house are a LOT tougher than the bricks at his parents' 😁 he thought it a strange ask, but he's happy he got it for me 😏
