Good morning Beloved ms family. I hope "YOU" are all well and had a restful nights sleep.
I think I should state this again as we have hit over 6000 Sisters and brothers. I am not now, nor have I been to the best of my knowledge a medical professional of any sort. None what so ever. Weakening my ego even further, I do not know everything and I do make mistakes. I am also quite claustrophobic and have a weak bladder and Bowel. Hence I always suggest valium for your Magnetic Resonance Image (MRI)tests, and protective underwear when leaving the house.
I most certainly do NOT know everything about this disease and I am pretty sure I do not want to. So "YOU" might excuse me if "YOU know something I do not. I try to write for that one person who is lost and does not know where to turn for some guidance. If that is not "YOU" please feel free to ignore me.
Having said all that, my motivation and interest is in "YOU". Long ago when I was first diagnosed (Dx'd) I asked questions and wished there was somebody who would guide me a little. I am very far from an expert, I do not know your particular situation, I am not your Doctor. I am doing my best to help "YOU". To take some of your fear away, nothing more.

i just love how you can put all to relax and just know that it is okay to wonder and want answers and know one person knows it all....just enjoy life....thank you..
Royce - I realise that this post is a kind of response to my comments in a different thread, and I apologise if I have upset you. I recognise that your motivation is always well intended and comes from a good place, and that you are keen to help and support others (especially the newly diagnosed) as we all do our best to deal with this crappy disease and the problems and disabilities it throws at all of us to a greater or lesser degree. You are correct that we are not doctors and many of us (including me) are rightly critical of some of the (dinosaur) neuros that many of us have to deal with - especially when some of them seem to still be practising medicine in the dark ages of MS treatments. However, we also have to be careful to answer the question/s that someone has asked, and not disparage advice that has been given to someone when that advice appears to be in line with up-to-date thinking and practices in treating MS.
So, keep up the work you do in trying to motivate people to accept the diagnosis that none of us wanted to hear, as you have many people who appreciate your efforts to encourage people to take responsibility for the management of their MS.
As I said privately, no offense taken at all. I appreciate your constructive input, be it good or bad. You are allowed to have an opinion are entitled to express it. I do not take it as a personal attack. Not that it ever matters I AM A GROWNUP, It is okay.
