really not for new people

No, this is really not for new people but of course being curios “YOU” looked and wanted to find out what the secret was. Afraid ‘YOU’ were missing out on something. That is okay, read on I guess but “YOU” have been warned,

Along our journey we may suffer pain. Not a pinprick but pain that absolutely no medicine will stop. I have had it, it is called Trigeminal Neuralgia for me, a disease that our GP friend said they call the suicide disease, quite by accident. The look on her face was priceless. I grew to understand what she meant because it really hurt. Consequently my several visits to the ER and very panicked paramedics looking at me on the floor trying to work out what to do next I guess gave me a hint.

Anyway in my more lucid moments I thought what about my mum she who must be obeyed her aunt. If I gave up how would they ever cope? So I stepped out of being selfish, gritted my teeth and determined to learn to cope with the pain. I thought of the World War 2 prisoners of Japan. The Australians and English on the Burma Thai railroad, on the Americans captured in the Phillipines. I always came back to, they were ordinary men, humans just like me. Honestly I am. If they could cope and endure there suffering so can I. I found my coping technique, thought of the pain that I would leave behind and struggled forward. I am sure my thoughts were exaggerated but they were mine and they gave me the strength each night as the waves of pain crashed down on me. I never once thought of deliberately giving up. That is not what we are here for, we are here to learn adapt and cope with our illness. Not to give up and cause our loved ones pain. Rest assured “YOU” are loved, “YOU”are needed and we are a little better for knowing “YOU.

From your head to your feet “TOU” have value and worth. Never ever feel that “YOU are less than anybody else. If “YOU” were not there “YOU” would be missed.
