Hi all, I posted a while back about stopping Ocrevus and starting Mavenclad. I am turning into a skeleton waiting for the Mavenclad to be approved 💀🦴💀🦴 (figuratively, not literally), and tomorrow my Ocrevus infusion would be happening if I had not decided to switch.

I know my neurologist felt that Ocrevus was what I might need to have. My rheumatologist suggested going back on Orencia for my RA. I would now be more thoughtful about trying Ocrevus and returning to my Orencia, after all the issues you guys have had with Ocrevus.

Busy summer: - 2nd hip replacement end of June - MRI in early August - Ocrevus also in early August after 9-10 months to give room for hip surgey.

I've had MS for nearly 30 years and I have been receiving Tysabri infusions since May 2012, but my MS has progressed and I've spoken to my doctor about switching to Ocrevus. I'm just wondering if anyone else has changed treatment and how did it go? Has anyone had positive results?

thank you everyone who responded to my post. I wish I could call my neurologist but I have to go to VA for care and calling anyone is impossible. By the time someone does reach you back it’s at least 3+ weeks or more so my only option is to go to ER an/or just wait til my next infusion. If I could ever

She’s currently in a treatment program, receiving Ocrevus, but now they are giving her Bioven as well. Unfortunately, her condition is still quite bad. Do you have any suggestions on what else we could do to help her?

I was on OCrevus but it made my hair fall out a lot and made my skin aweful. They changed me to the original version of OCrevus that starts with K and I will be getting my second infusion of it in less than 10 days.

I have heard that Ocrevus has little effect after a certain age. I am 76, so I am priobablyt above any age mentioned, but I am hesitant to stop the infusions in case I get a new exacerbation. Has anyone else gone through this, and has anything new happened after stopping?

I saw an Ocrevus commercial tonight while watching TV, and I noticed that they said Ocrevus can cause colitis. I don't remember that being in the patient drug info when I started Ocrevus in 2022. Do any others on Ocrevus remember being told about this, or is it new?

I had my first Ocrevus infusion 6 months ago and just got my bill yesterday after insurance for $6,325. Without insurance it states bill would have been $159,077. I never dreamed it would cost this much and I just paid $542 for X-rays and half of a dental cleaning after insurance.

If steroids are bad for treating flare-ups, what about the steroids used in ocrevus? I've had 9 ocrevus infusions...what do I use for a relapse or flare-up? My neuro is not on the steroid bandwagon to stop a relapse because of the damage to bones.. this is a lose-lose situation.

I was previously had the Ocrevus Infusions and now changing over to Tysabri. At least this time for treatment, will be a little different to where I'll only to have to go twice a month, instead of every 2 weeks; like before. Has anyone had the Tysabri Infusions?

They offered me kesempta or ocrevus. I don't know anything about them . I asked but again he ran out of time . Anyone taken them , any advice ? I'm so scared it's progressing fast I'm only 42 and want to live and be happy. I'm so scared. Pls help x love to you all

Ocrevus is delayed for 2 months to avoid interference with surgery. Now going through all the tests (discovering an asymptomatic UTI, easy to treat, this might be why I have been more tired than usual). Surgery is scheduled for June 24th. Already planning to be back on my horse by end of August.

Ocrevus is my DMT along with Baclofen 4 muscle spasm and Trospium Chloride for my bladder weakness. I am trying to stay cool like all MS warriors in this heat!🤦🏾‍♀️ May God continue to bless and keep all of you, my fellow MS warriors as well continue to fight our fight!

Could this be an infection caused by ocrevus? Has this happened to anyone, just a terrible cough that makes people give you THE LOOK?

I've been on Ocrevus since early 2022, and I really do believe that it's a great drug. But when I started it, I could walk around the block, and my relapses were what now seems pretty mild.
