Drastic change in weather causes migraines., joint pain, burning leg pain, worse fatigue, and just overall flare up of any older pains. Does everyone have these problems with cold fronts and drastic changes? As bad as my severe body temperature change : one minute I am cold, next minute my hair Nd body is soaked in sweat, one evening I was so hot I just went outside and sat on front porch in 10 degrees weather to cool off! Before I got there, though, my knees bucked, hit the floor, hubby picked me up and walked me out to lounge on porch. Extreme sweating instantly is getting to be a problem. Is there medicine for this? Been thru menopause and this is 100x worse, Some nights I have to sleep in our unheated guest bedroom that’s about 45 degrees cause I get so very very hot, then weak, and nauseousAnd I wear my ice packs and drink cold chamomile tea. Help!!

I should have become a meteorologist I can tell when a cold front is coming in or the barometric pressure is changing it’s no fun because I know when it’s going to get hot I know when it’s going to get cold and stormy and right now it’s snowing. That’s the weather forecast for today LOL

The sweats and hot flashes sound like when I was going through menopause. I would get so hot (mostly at night) that I would have to step outside, like you, in the T-shirt and underpants that I slept in just to cool off. The night sweats were so bad at times (and I would stink so bad from the sweating) that I would have to get up during the night and take a shower, then cover my part of the sheet with towels so I could go back to sleep. The next morning I would have to change the sheets.

Sorry about the rest of it!

Hi agapepilgrim, I was going to do a post about that very thing today, you’ve bet me to it. I was in the kitchen Saturday night and all of a sudden I got so hot, I imediately I went and sat down, took off my sweater, slippers and just sat still not daring to move. I too felt nauseated. I remember going through menopause but this was different. It’s happened a few times but normally in hot weather, so I went to see what doctor google said, punch it in and read it. Something else to contend with, Blessings Jimeka 🤗

It eases my mind when I read others have the same symptoms. I don't even bother telling the doctor when I see so many suffering the same symptoms and it lets me know "it's just MS." I can't believe I am using the cooling wraps in the middle of a blizzard. I did discover if I just start the evening with the waist cooling wrap around my middle, it helps. I sat here with the ice packs around my stomach and a heating throw on my legs. It is crazy, the weirdiest disease there is in the history of mankind I do believe! The last time I mentioned the problem to the doc, he said menopause, I laughed and said I went through that 20 years ago (I wanted to say, would you please check my age on my chart!). And this is about 50 times worse! He just stared at me like all doctors do to us when they either don't believe us or don't have any idea how to help us, so they just ignore our words! As my daughter Respiratory Therapist reminds me: they are PRACTICING medicine on us! We are their guinea pigs! Oink! Oink! So very thankful for this hub.
