Cold weather

At 15 degrees outside, it really makes my legs feel weak. As if it’s my kryptonite. I could barely lift my foot an inch. I feel so blessed and fortunate my wife was with me and helped lift my foot to the next step for me. How does cold weather treat you?

right now i'm able to deal with it since I've been on Ocrevus but before that I couldn't bend my leg it was like trying to bend a metal pole. I would have to wait til my leg warmed up and relaxed. I had better not missed taking my meds then it was another layer to deal with while it was cold out.

I cudnt get outta bed til noon. Now wen i walk my knees buckle so i am stuck to the couch

Exactly! Jack Frost is something else. He needs to stay in the Arctic.

Cold seems worse than heat.

just have to wear warmer clothing on my legs but besides that i go out and shovel and snow plow...take care and bundle up lots more for the cold ...stay safe and nice and warm...

Cold weather had stoped my legs from working very well years ago. As does too much heat these days.

The cold kicks my butt. It’s like I have weights tied to my butt and legs. Getting over my back surgery was bad enough then add the cold and there isn’t much moving going on.

But heat doesn’t really bother me.

We feel stormy days sometimes before it rains or snows.

.I have sensitivity to cold and heat. I carry gloves always, layer my clothes and wear ice vests in summer. I just keep adjusting and rolling with changes.

It’s really a good thing that the cooling vest can help us in the summer and wearing layers help us in the winter.

I have come to the realization that my MS really hates frigid tempratures; but now worry it will be much the same when summer hits... Good thing I moved to the Palm Springs area, this should be fun!

Get a cooling vest there are several types on line mine has little pockets were I ca n put small ice blocks or just cool packs I store them in a bin in the fridge and some in the freezer.
