Like a lot of people I was fearful, I hope I can eliminate that some, but everyones experience can be different. My experience was appt. at 7am by 7:15 hooked up to IV. then proceded to give me steroids first and 2 Tylenol in case of headache.the benedryl is in steroid mix.I am allegic to benedryl so the gave me zyrtec, antihistime to ward off itching and rashes.I did have a reaction, immediate sore throat and closing, gave me more steroids within 60 sec. and it cleared up very quickly after they stopped it,when I was ok they restarted it.I was there until about noon.Next day lots of energy and no pain ,I think it's a hangover of steroids now that I know what to expect, it's cool.the nurse told me a 40 yr old lady came in to first treatment in a wheelchair,by third treatment she was walking down the hall alone.there is hope!

Report on my first half of ocrevus
Wow! Thanks for your report! I'm glad to know they "pre-treated" for possible side effects of the infusion! Seems I break out in a rash & itching from SO many things. I'll remember this, should my neuro decide I could try Ocrevus! I'll also be interested in YOUR Ocrevus experience...what a great 'happening' for the lady in the wheel chair!
That’s thrilling news! I’m so happy for you!
Thank you for the report! I love hearing everyone’s experiences-good and bad. I’m in a holding pattern waiting for my insurance but I’m hoping that I will be like the 49 year old that went from a wheelchair to walking down the hall. Giving people hope is everything...❤️
Great news! 😊❤🌷
Pamgarner, it's Fancy1959 and I'm glad you have a positive attitude going into the ocrevus therapy regiment. I will be on ocrevus 1 year this coming September. The research I've done and the people I've spoken to leave me to believe that typically the best results on this therapy are seen sometime after the 2 to 2 and 1/2 year mark of starting the therapy. So hang in there this therapy is a long-term commitment but there are really good prognosis seen by many people. Worldwide now there are over 40,000 patients on ocrevus and the drug has been in trials and testing and use for 4 years now and it just keeps getting better and better results. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to speaking to you again. Fancy1959.
That is wonderful news about the person in the wheelchair, but don't get caught up in false hope, not everyone is the same, I use a walker, going in tomorrow for the 2nd half of 1st dose. I just pray to stop progressing, anything else would be a bonus. Good luck to you. just don't want you to get hope up to high.
I am also doing the same, trying to stop the progression, everyone is different, so glad the young lady in the in the wheelchair had such positive results. wish there was a magic pill
