Got the old bad shingles has anyone had them that take tysabri and if they did how long did they stay off it

I don’t take tysabri but I want to say I hope you feel better soon, my mom had those and it is not a good thing

Kookies, it's Fancy1959. Your question about how long to stay off the Tysabri do to your shingles would definitely be a problem to talk to both your primary care physician and your nuerologist about. Please go straight to the experts and get their opinions as people in this chat room are not doctors. As shingles is nothing to take lightly. My mom got them and she never got over them. The pain and the rash and sores stayed with her for over 2 years until the day she died. Please take care of yourself and make sure you get lots of rest and stay in constant communication with your doctor's about the shingles. Follow their advice to the T. Please take care. I wish you a quick recovery from this disease that no one wants. Keep us informed of your improvement. And know that many of us are praying that your pain is mild and your rash heals quickly. Fancy

Hop you heal quickly 🙏 I just called my primary doctor 👨🏼‍⚕️ today and they don’t die shingle shots anymore. Called district health and quit doing them last year. Next was pharmacy and they have the new one, shingrix on order? Couple weeks out. I’m going to call my insurance tomorrow for more info? Crazy 😜 that so many quit doing them. Will let everyone know what I find out 🤔

Do you know if the shingles shot is live or not The reason being is that on the Ocrevus you are not suppose to have any live shots that is why I would like to know if the shingles shot is a live shot
