I received a looooooong awaited call from Biogen today. Mike told me that I had the needed approval, denial, appeals on file and the next step would be to qualify me. Next, I was transferred to Jose who asked me some questions AND I qualified for the $0 copay program!!!!!!! I was told that it would take about 24 hours to put through and get setup through their pharmacy. Their pharmacy will be giving me a call to schedule delivery of my Tecfidera. Now, I do understand that this medication may not work for me but on the other hand it might. I'm just ready to find out what works for me and what does not. This approval is a weight off my already heavy loaded life and I'm so happy right now!
