My infusion is next Friday the 22nd. I don't want to go. It's at a Big hospital in NY State. (No not the city) Anyway, I tried back in March to get my infusion moved to my little home town hospital. Was told No. They aren't equipped. Stupid hospital anyway...
So my anxiety level is at an all time high! The infusion nurse's have been wonderful putting me at ease tho. I know my transport guys. Yes! I have been keeping tabs on them!!! π
Now, I have medical transport telling me, that without THEIR approval on some form, which they haven't gotten yet, I can't use them to go to my neurologist!?!?! I'm sorry what?
When exactly did Med transport get to decide which Dr I see?
So they have till Tues to get it, and approve it. Or I was told I would have to find a ride or change my appointment. Ughhh lady I'm gonna come through that phone!! That is just not possible, the friggin state is locked down! She's like, well call back on Tues and see. Grr!
And Jasper is limping, it's like seriously I need a break already! And no, I don't know why. Started yesterday, vet tomorrow.

Thatβs a real bummer just sit and wait till Tuesday π€¬. Then if they say no doesnβt leave you much time to look π for another way. Dang I hate the way they system works or should I say doesnβt work π€¬. Prayers are with you that things work out πππ Ken πΎπΎ

I'm just breathing through this, cause I don't know what's going to happen if I have to change the date.π I'm gonna have one ticked off neuro I'm sure.ππ€£ππ€ππ
i tried to get my infusion locally(my dr is 70 miles away with infusion center)my dr told me i can't because he is not on staff there and if I have a side effect,he cannot prescribe me any medication to counteract it. also the rules have changed at infusion center,i have to be dropped off, my hubby cannot come back with me or sit in the waiting room, not that I would want to,germy place!but to up drop me off and pick me that would be 140 mile drop off and 140 mile pickup, everything is so complex right now, hope you get yours worked out
That's how ours is set up. Take your temp before you go in, have mask's. I got sanitizer wipes finally yesterday! So will be taking some with me!π€£π€ππ
I have cancelled my Ocrevus infusion in July and will wait until COVID-19 is over. (I was due for my annual MRI as well, but my neurologist told me not to do it.)
I was supposed to go May 6 but Neuro ordered B cell test in Apr which came back 0. She canceled it and I need to get B cell checked again 5/21. If still 0, she will likely delay again. If any present then Iβm to get the infusion. Is this maybe an option for you?
I went to get a normal blood draw at the lab where my dr's office is and they are screening everyone at the door. Once you get in the door it shouldn't be an issue. Getting there, though, sounds like it really is!
I take my boys to a therapy every Wednesday and sit in the car and read for 2 hours. Early on I would do grocery shopping but now I just sit in the car and read. Their last one is July 1...
I read every day before bed. I keep track of the books I read in a year and every year it's more than the one before. How many people can say they read close to 100 books a year! The more stressed, unhappy, whatever I am the more I read. Escapism.
Just when you think that you're all set, the goal posts get moved! I hope that everything is all straightened out by the time that you need to go in for your infusion. However, Goldilockssearching is bringing up an interesting observation that perhaps a 6 month schedule of Ocrevus infusions might not be required for everyone. Hmmm...
