I am here so I can find support in others that know what it's like to have OCD. It's hard for others to understand what we go through and how strong we are. It's easy to feel like no one understands or cares sometimes. I can see how it could be frustrating for others. I try my best to not inconvenience anyone around me with what I am going through. I also struggle with depression, especially during the summer. I am a teacher and when I don't have a regular routine, it's really difficult. I have been dealing with that depression again this summer. It's nice to be here.
Hi honey-bee77. I too believe we are very strong human beings. We deal with OCD on a daily basis while doing everything else- taking care of our family, work, etc. Other people deal with normal problems. We deal with OCD and normal problems. If you need to talk to someone, I’m here for you.
I looked you up on face book, but I'm not sure if it's you. There are a few on there. Maybe you can give me another hint so I know its you. It's nice to be able to talk with someone who understands. It amazes me how we can offer support to others going through these struggles even at our weakest moments.
I think that shows that we are kind people as I would do anything to help anyone that suffers like us as it's the worst thing in this world to deal with and I'd never want ANYONE to suffer this without support ❤️
Hmmm.... it's a picture of me in an off the shoulder yellow top with my arm around my dad (bald man with a grey tash ) have a little look now .
Glad you feeling fine at the moment darling and long may it continue!!
Not too bad....not great but no absolutely terrible...just trying to be positive (as much as I can) and also hoping the increase in meds will start to help too
it is hard for someone without OCD to understand how disabling it can be. When you are not working it is very important to have a routine. Our OCD brains need to be kept busy. I find exercise every day is a real help . Summertime is perfect for a nice walk. Always remember you are not alone 😉
