Medication question

Hello peers,

I have a quick question. I started on a low dose of Sertaline (12.5mg) and started feeling very anxious especially in the mornings and throughout the day. Has anyone experienced this with starting Sertaline? Thank you and I welcome your comments!

Make sure to share this information with the prescribing provider.

It can be helpful to start with half a tablet for a week or two and then increase to a full tablet.

Similarly, when the provider wants to increase the dose (as is usually done for OCD), ramping up slowly is important.

You could ask your provider if Buspirone could be helpful for the anxiety.

You probably know this already -- but combining therapy with meds is important.
