OCD and bodybuilding

Hello everyone on here. Hope everyone’s having a great Saturday. Just wanted to vent about how much my OCD interferes with my bodybuilding. My OCD has gotten so bad lately that it’s interfering with my, lifting, diet, planning, and my whole focus on nutrition and training. I know I do certain things that trigger my OCD. Too much coffee, espresso, that is. The caffeine isn’t good at all for the OCD. I also have depression, and I noticed that when my OCD gets worse, my depression takes a turn for the worse. The training I do, the lifting part of it helps my OCD. But anyways, I guess lately with everything that’s going on the OCDS been pretty elevated. Thank you. SAMSON

My spouse has OCD

And he is a body builder

He goes to personal training everyday 7am

It’s (the consistency) the only thing he is holding on to to keep his sanity. When he doesn’t have this- he LOSES HIS MIND

It’s like he falls off a cliff

He doesn’t drink coffee or anything. He’s pretty “clean” living. Keep to your routine. What’s stopping you? Get back on track. Consistency is good.

Good luck 🏆

I do run and I look for those chemicals now.
