I read your posts to my husband about me thinking that he being strong minded and smart would make him handle OCD better.
His answer, Honey remember Howard Hughes. He was a genius!

Ha! I've told my wife that many geniuses struggled with mental illness and one day the genius part of my personality will manifest itself. Joking, of course.
Leonardo DiCaprio was great in The Aviator -- his expressions and mannerisms really captured the embarrassment and frustration of having to perform rituals that make no sense. The scene where he's washing in a public bathroom and can't stop to give a towel to a man on crutches is really poignant.
