OCD fixating on different people

OCD seems to fixate on different people.

The obsessions are unwanted, distressful.

I know that the treatment is to accept the thoughts, and let them be there.

But it is so hard, since there is so much suffering, just going through thoughts which you do not want at all.

This has always been my struggle.

OCD focuses on what a person values most, and my obsessions revolve around morality issues.

I just wanted to share my feelings for today.

I practiced doing immoral things at slowest rate .I was also very concerned about the importance of morality. Do immoral things that don't bother others much . u could face fear this way. Exposure to danger is important.

Thanks for sharing. I have the same issue. Accepting the OCD thoughts does not make it easier for me. I thoughts I have are demanding so sad. I pray for God to take these OCD thoughts and rituals away.

I pray to God also that my thoughts go away, since they are very bothersome and unwanted.

I can relate to the fact that accepting the thoughts is not easy at all.

I find it very difficult to do it.

I am not always able to accomplish it either.

But since we do not have control of OCD, and cannot stop those symptoms, we can just keep trying ways to deal with them, just so that we can do live our daily life.

We are in this struggle with OCD together as sufferers.
