Rewarding Yourself

Hey guys,

Sorry if I’ve been posting on here too much lol but I just really love this community and all the support it offers! Right now I’m doing a really hard exposure and instead of worrying about false memories or arguing with the OCD I’m instead choosing to think about how I am going to reward myself after this is over. How do you guys like to reward yourself for your progress???

Hey!

You haven’t been posting too much! You’re fine!

I love this community too!

That is a good strategy to use in order to get through exposures!

For me, it is as simple as realizing that an exposure has been completed. That is enough reward for me! It is more than enough of a reward, really. How about you?

I agree! I did a really hard exposure last night and didn’t let my anxieties get the best of me and this morning I just felt like dancing! But I also don’t mind spoiling myself a little lol 😂

Yes!

I’m so happy for you!!

Dancing is another great way to reward yourself!

Spoiling yourself is also awesome

we all have different definitions of spoiling ourselves, of course.

You can never post too much 😀

And this is something I've never thought about. Rewarding yourself! I suppose that's important to do. Now you've made me think!
