I’m Nicole. I suffer from OCD and wanted to join this online community. I have a 9 yr old son who is my whole world. I went to Roger’s Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin for treatment 3 years ago. I have been a lot better since that but as you know, things still trigger and bother the OCD each day. I will always have OCD but I am not OCD. And that is something that I try to remember all of the time.

I find the most important benefit of this community is calling out the OCD. When it's hidden it's insidious. "To name it is to tame it." When we speak openly about OCD without fear or shame we decrease its power over us. Let's commit today to speak our truth. I have OCD but I am not OCD. Sheila
