On Monday 5th November my mum took her last breath. She had needed 24 hour care and was in total pain for the last year. She was with family and will be missed by all.
It's so hard to try to carry on without her but she brought us up strong.
I would like to thank you for the support and advice that I received from you all during this trying time and offer support for all those still facing tjis horrible cruel illness 😢😢💔

Hello Shellie, I am so sorry to hear this news however as you say your mum is now finally at peace. I am sure you will find the weeks ahead so difficult but you must give time for yourself now. You did everything you could for your mum and that must have been so draining both emotionally and physically. Our thoughts are with you.
We all try to feel your pain but it's so personal we cant, all we can do is pass our sympathy to you and your family.
We are all going through the same journey and likely to reach the same end of the road, we all try to make that road as long and eventful as we can and our lives one know this and know the live they received.
They take this love into the next part of their journey and I am sure your mum has more than enough.
Time for you all to remember and use the strength of that love for yourselves.
Sending you lots of love and hugs Shellie. I lost my dear big brother to MSA a few years ago. He fought so valiantly and made the most of every day. Some people look out in the wider world for their heroes and people to admire. Those of us with family and friends with this cruel illness don’t have to do that. Our heroes are much closer. My brother will always be my hero and I’m sure your lovely mum is the same to you. Brothers, mums we love them, they are irreplaceable. I feel for you and your grief. You will learn to live with the gap that is left. Be kind to yourself. x
