I'm sorry if this upsets anyone but just to let you all know. That sadly we lost my mum yesterday. She passed quite suddenly at home with my devoted dad by herself. We are all devasted but take some comfort in the fact she is no longer suffering. She struggled every day with this horrendous condition for the last 10 years and never once complained about any of it. She fought so hard to stay with us but unfortunately could only go on so long. Thank you to all of you on here, this forum and the MSA trust have been a great support and have been there for us a number of times when we have desperately needed someone to help and understand. I know my mum would have loved chatting on here if she had been able to and she took comfort in the fact that there were others going through similiar experiences when I shared stories with her from this forum. Xx

Very sorry to hear the news that we all know will happen for MSA sufferers at some point.
But pleased the battle is now over and you can all rest.
Your mum I am sure was proud she has such a loving caring family around her, which is what we strive for.
God Bless you all.
Paul & Sue
I'm very sorry. She looks lovely and kind. Seeing tributes and photos brings home the humanity of the person behind the illness. And all that they were to the others around them. I've appreciated all your posts. I hope simple, beautiful things like flowers give you comfort right now. I will go and light a candle.. Kx

You have kind eyes and are beautiful, like your mum. I speak as I find.
You should be well proud of yourself for looking after her so well and carrying on her legacy of being beautiful inside and out; no matter what happens

Hello Kathryn. So sorry to hear of your loss. It's something we all dread and know will come but keep hoping ..not just yet. As you say your mum is now no longer suffering and you can rest assured that you did everything for her whilst she was here.
Make some time for yourself now and think of all the happy times and memories you have of your mum. Hopefully we will still see you on this forum as you have so much experience you can offer to others going through what you have of late.
Take care, our thoughts are with you, Ian x
