Besremi Gas & Diarrhea

I did my first injection of 125mcg of Besremi on Sunday. I was on 135mcg of Peg Interferon.

I wanted to try Bes during the shortage to see if it suited me better. So far I’m really not sure. It seems to have caused me stomach and intestinal issues. I have terrible diarrhea and really smelly gas. Immodium helps.

I advise from people who may have experienced this. Does it get better? Should I persevere?

I started with Besremi a couple of weeks ago and experienced similar effects. Not Diarrhea but a stimulated digestion and periods with more gas. It seems like under Besremi I am intolerant to certain foods like some dairy products . As with all the side effects I experience it is getting better in the second week after injection. That's what makes it bearable.

I experienced Diarrhea for the first year on Besremi. Over the year, it did reduce from days to on day after the shot and finally not at all.
