There had been discussion of me going on
besremi
when I was thought to be PV. I am now wondering if I have ET if
besremi
is still an option for treatment or does it only treat PV?

Since being on
Besremi
my platelets are now stable in the 250k range (also normal). I am still getting phlebotomies every 2.5 months, but I'm only 9 or so months into
Besremi
and the ramp up was very gradual. I'm shocked how few are on
Besremi
.

Updated Numbers Based on Recent Appointment
Hi, I'm about 10 months in to starting
Besremi
and just had a phlebotomy. RBC had gotten to 47 after only 2 months from my prior phlebotomy, which I wasn't happy about. I keep hoping that will stabilize soon, although it took me a while to ramp up to my current
Besremi
dose.

The ECLIPSE PV trial- Besremi
Is there anyone on here that is in the The ECLIPSE PV trial with
Besremi
? I am thinking about trying to join the trial at MD Anderson In Houston. The ECLIPSE PV trial will evaluate an accelerated dosing schedule for
Besremi
and compare it with the dose that is currently approved.

Updated numbers on Besremi...interesting
I also have now had 3 tests with allele burden as follows: March 2023 (BMB): 14.1 May 2023 started
Besremi
- very slow titration Sept 2023 reached 350 mcg
Besremi
Oct 2023 14.9 allele burden Apr 2024 14.5 allele burden So I haven't had much of an impact for allele burden.

Switch from Besremi to Jakafi
First five years after diagnosis I was treated with monthly phlebotomy and baby aspirin only. 5 yrs of monthly phlebotomy took its toll and iron deficiency and high platelets led me to
besremi
which had just been approved. Started
besremi
about 2 1/2 years ago.

Update and Besremi associated Ads
Hi all - thought I would give an update from my last note regarding platelet crash while on
Besremi

Besremi
With platelets dropping Nov 3rd 2023 to 86 while on
Besremi
500 ug, my hematologist stopped medication.

Monday MRI
Prayers
Besremi
has helped and I am not potentially facing another medication. I have pretty much made my mind up I don’t want to take anything else for my MS right now. Want to see if
Besremi
will eventually work. I have no symptoms and feel great!

Besremi side effects?
I recall hunter saying that he feels better on
Besremi
than he has felt in 10 years, which is impressive. Has anyone here experienced any severe side effects from
Besremi
?

Besremi benefits?
hello community, I’ve previously asked a question about
Besremi
vs Jakafi ( for my husband with PV, currently on hydroxyurea) and really appreciative the responses.

itching
Hi community, I have terrible itching and now being on
Besremi
I feel it has gotten a little worse. I plan to stay on
Besremi
unless it makes sense to switch to Jakafi, which I hear is excellent at controlling itch.

Body Acne
In 2020, I was put on
Besremi
and the acne completely cleared up! Unfortunately, my blood counts dropped too much and once I was off the
Besremi
, the acne came back with a vengeance. Anyone else experience something like this?

Besremi and Rux Combined
Then in December 2022 was switched to
Besremi
. I've been on Bes for a little over a year and gradually increased dosage to current 300 mcg. My platelets and HCT kept rising until my last blood work when finally the platelets and HCT dropped.

Update 8.0 - Next chapter
While I would prefer to increase the
Besremi
dose, it would not be in my best interests. I am planning to keep the
Besremi
dose at 175mcg unless my MPN care team advises otherwise. I expect we will give it a bit of time to see if the NEUT comes back up above 1.00.

Sweating at night
I am on
Besremi
. I started to sweat at night. What does it mean with PV? 9 years from my diagnosis. What do you think about it, please? Recommendations

Interferon and the liver
question to all my MPN people on here who are taking pegasys or
besremi
, how do you manage elevated liver enzymes? Do they cycle up and down? Is there anything we can do to bring them down? What is acceptable to y’all? My hematologist says not to worry until they hit 2-300..
