Vitamin K2: Anyone taking vitamin K2? I would... - MPN Voice
Vitamin K2
I've been taking vitamin k2 (for 2 months) to help my body to absorb the vitamin d I have been taking in order to hopefully avoid getting covid again. Welp I just got covid again so that didn't work.
I haven't noticed any difference in anything since starting vit k2 except twice I had an experience where all my gums in my mouth became painful. I know that vitamin k2 is supposed to help your gum health so I'm not sure if it's related.
You need to check your Vit D score and reach target to 75 -100 for optimum benefit.
Please remember, vitamin ADEK should not be overdose.
Cheers
I'm taking k2 and calcium carbonate with D3 my vitamin D level is 128 nmol/L is that high
I've been taking 100mcg Vitamin K2 daily for about a year. It helps both with efficient absorption of Vitamin D and calcium. I haven't had any adverse reactions to it, and when researching it, I found that it's naturally occurring in the dairy fat of grass fed ruminant animals. One of its most important functions is to direct calcium into bones and teeth and keep it out of soft tissues like the cardiovascular system.
I take Maxx Labs Vit D3 with K2 MK7. Probably not recommended if you have blood clotting issues. Trying to keep my D3 level between 60-80. I also use a Happy Light from Nov - March on cloudy days for mood boost. 😊
