Is anyone on this trial?

I was too late to enroll but sounds good idea. Worst case it’s very healthy. Lots of blueberries, oily fish, avocados, walnuts, olive oil etc. Have to cut out refined carbs though.

Hi Paul I’m not on this trial myself but it’s very interesting. I currently follow a keto diet and have seen great results. I have no symptoms with my pv but feel very fit and healthy on this lifestyle choice. Be food to find out more of what the trial diet is but I suspect it may be keto based.
I have loads of fish, veg and fruit plus porridge, wholemeal home made bread and brown/spelt pasta
I try to reduce iron intake, hence no fortified cereal/bread, red meat, spinach etc
Do you also try to ‘restrict’ iron.
I am confused about this inflammatory process. In my career we first used drugs like Prednisone to calm down anything. The side effects weren't acceptable. What medical specialty does this abnormal inflammation belong to? Are there articles available to read about it..
I have ET JAK2 and take Hydroxyurea. My desire for food is in another hemisphere. Maybe minimal food will turn out to be anti-inflammatory! (that would be too easy).
It certainly seems critical for a "happy" bone marrow. The few things that occasionally seem appealing are wheat bread and things with pasta.
There's a diet/and book called "TQI"- To Quiet Inflammation. I am going to take a look. A Physician friend told me to get it.
Good luck to us!
Where can we get a copy of the suggested diet?

The photo was first and foremost blueberries but the backdrop included all the usual suspects. Google search anti inflammatory diets chronic and I think you should be on the right track.
Really interesting. I'm not on it, but we'll be able to ask Dr Mesa about it on Saturday. It seems to link with the research a Sheffield University testing the use of drugs which have been used for arthritis.
