Tested positive for covid Sunday. Bit like flu. I’ve had four jabs. Was due fifth at end of April. Just been for anti viral infusion that was offered as soon as I reported the positive result. All went well and hopefully I won’t feel any worse. I have ET and Pv . Also bronchiectasis. Nhs been wonderful .

Hi, I’m pleased to hear you don’t feel too bad. Hopefully the anti virals will do their job. It’s great to hear that you had such a positive experience of the system. Wishing you a speedy recovery.Karen

It is marvellous they can offer us this medication. It dies t cute covid but helps to stop people getting seriously ill or dying. So glad I had the chance. I’m taking antibiotics for chest . Feel much better but very weary. Roll on Summer. We all feel better when sun shines. Thanks for you good wishes

I tested positive last Thursday and through 111 got a swift consultation and approved for Paxlovid, 3 tabs twice a day for 5 days. I even had them delivered by local hospital. They seemed to have worked well just a heavy cold. I am PV and taking Hydroxycarbamine.

Great NHS service

Hi, Glad your not feeling too bad and had the antiviral. Hopefully you'll be full recovered in a day or two.

I was positive last Tues and had the antiviral the following Friday. The 111 team and infusion nurses were fantastic. I'm still recovering and on/off positive, I've had (Still have some) many symptoms but recovering. My gp's have been slow/problematic in the past but during my Infection they've been calling to check on me. It's really reassuring and feel supported. I'm happy to hear you've experienced similar and feel the same. Take care and have some rest. X
