I take the trial drug ruxulitnib twice a day ,I have done for 3 years ,I have MPN . We decided to continue throughout my surgery ,. But I stopped clopiterol for 2 weeks ,instead I injected direct into my tummy every day .even after my discharge ..my healing has been great ,I had two sessions of physiotherapy but I walked without the stick at 4 weeks ,as I wanted to go to a dog show and walk !! I continue healthy eating all things green and growing ,,drinking juice and teas ,,of course filtered water ..

No alcohole at all .have lots of healing honey locally bought ..

My blood tests at clinic show good results ,I feel fine ..hate the cold ,hands and feet .but am coping well ..all the best. Twinkly. Xx💜💜

Hi Twinkly, good to know that you're ok. I think a lot of people were concerned for you, so it's good that you have updated us. Hope everything continues to progress well.

Good Luck

Excellent news! Both my knees need replacing, but I don't have much faith in my local hospital, everybody I know who has had it done there has complained about it! If I can get my platelets on an even keel I'll have it done - at a different hospital!

Keep Twinkling! (Gorgeous dog by the way)

Hello twinkly good to see all went well with your TKR, sounds as if you sailed through without too many problems, you have done the right thing by getting out and about walking all important to keeping the new joints moving if by any chance the knee swells just ice it for about twenty minutes works wonders.

Glad you are back.

Thanks for your kind words. I too am ever hopeful of making a full recovery it will take time, effort and belief - all of which are in mine own hands. By the same rule I'm confident that Crufts will be blessed by your attendance along with your Russian girls. Good job a certain President Trump isn't in charge of it as some breeds would be banned no doubt 😉.

Anyway you'll be pleased to know I'm eating well with a balanced diet and mostly healthy (just had stir fry rice, peas, green beans, peppers, onion, and mushrooms) . I tend not to eat rubbish and haven't been able to have any beer or wine for the last 18 mths. Actually haven't missed it as much as I thought. And if I could taste my food it would be all the better. Hopefully my taste will come back soon as I have mouth treatments to use. Due a biopsy on it to check for bad cell growth.

Anyway best get back to Call the Midwife, , gee these Sisterly cells have summat to answer for xx

Hi Twinkly , good to hear from you , and so glad everything went okay for you ,you are looking great as always ,all tge best Holly x
