Colonoscopy update and thanks
Had some weird dreams which I think was the fentanyl I had as well as
Midazolam
. Any way to cut a long story short - the out come was diverticular disease ( not diverticulitis - they are different). The management seems to be dietary.

cardiac arrest and hypoxic brain injury
The only thing that calmed them were
midazolam
and clonazepam instead. They think it’s a mixture of seizure like activity (as pupils still react to light during these jerks) and myoclonic jerks. Since the introduction of clonazepam - she has been still in sedation for the last week.

I just hate pain of any sort even though I know I'll have sedation - Fentanyl and
Midazolam
-I'm still really, really panicking....😒🙄

Perineal biopsy with local anesthetic
Did your physician prescribe hydrocodone and/or Valium in addition to the sedatives and pain meds such as
midazolam
and fentanyl? 2. Are the needles one-time use or not? Thank you.

Tooth Extraction Enquiry
On offer is, - sedation by gas (nitrous oxide & oxygen) - intravenous sedation (
midazolam
) The first option seems to have almost immediate recovery afterwards whereas the second option requires a few considerations and at least 24hrs for full recovery.

Changing from prednisone to Midazolam
From research i have done on
midazolam
a few sites state that one bad side effect is (it can cause breathing issues) . I will talk with my pharmacist and my GP. Is there anyone on this site who is being treated with
midazolam
for exacerbations. I am presently taking qvar, spiolto and ventolin.

Pancreatitis In the ICU VENTIALTOR
Hee is also being given pain medication which is hydromorphone,
midazolam
, and propofol. He recently went for another CT they said his pancreatitis has been better than before but still needs to be less inflamed. They are still giving him sedatives and believe he is sedated again.

Dad not waking from sedatives
He was on
midazolam
, propofol, morphine and fentanyl for around 48 hours. They stopped these and the paralysis drug after 2 days but put him back on to a lower sedative for another day as his tube was irritating him.

Medication help
I was referred to St Marys who said it was an inappropriate referral, and I'm supposed to have a fitted syringe driver with morphine,
midazolam
, levomepromazine, and hyoscine (busco).

Urgent advice is needed for our elderly mum with COPD placed on end of life meds
Certainly I feel the haloperidol and
midazolam
, are most definiviely unecessary as until 2 days ago she has never had any form of psychosis, and the lorazapam in itself is already a very strong anti anxity medication.

Colonoscopy
I don’t think I need to stop the medication before the procedure, so I’ve read but does the
midazolam
interact with the drugs in any way please. I’m other words would the
midazolam
give me af or indeed ectopics at all.

Egg collection update
I found the egg collection quite painful, not sure why, but I did enjoy the feeling of fentanyl and
midazolam
!! Sadly my left ovary was still unreachable 😕 so we could only use my right one. Although I had 19+ good sized follicles at my final scan last week, they only collected 6 eggs.

Brain damage
She was sedated (firstly with propofol then
midazolam
) and everytime they tried to wake her she was having seizures. She's now off sedation but on 4 different anti epilepsy medications. Kepra, unsure of the other 2, and recently added clobazam.
