when I feel upset, I say the word STOP to myself. Then I tell myself that I am in charge of my feelings, and that I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO DO….THEN IDEAS POP INTO MY HEAD…HOPE THIS HELPS !
Emotional upset 😡 is really distressing mentally and physically tiring as our nervous systems struggle to reset.
Sleep is often difficult too.
I would like to recommend contacting a doctor for the purpose of assessing you physical and mental health.
You might be experiencing one of life's down periods or it could be a little more serious.
If you can get something to help you sleep better for 7 nights or so, you may wake up to feel better rested and able to think about the triggers for the change in mood.
Be totally upfront with the doctor. If you feel tongue tied by the "what brings you her today question" feel free to show your post or write✍ down some notes.
You might like to mention that you would like a few sessions of counselling for support & guidance.
Another idea is to call into your library and ask what you should read when you are feeling xxx.
