Sertraline after 6 months - started smoking and drinking more

I was put on Sertraline 50mg after a breakdown in February so have been on it for over 6 months. I was off work for 6 weeks and whilst some things have improved such as my OCD and eczema, I am not myself. I’m still feeling down and the smallest things can trigger a bit of anxiety. I am sleeping a lot, falling asleep as soon as I get to bed at 830pm and sleep right through until 6-7am. I am drinking more regularly than before (at least double the recommended units per week), eating more junk food and started smoking - something I’ve never done in all my 43 years.

I am trying to do things I enjoy, exercise regularly, meditate daily, and take multi vits, ginkgo and ginseng but if anything I’m a bit worse.

Could this be Sertraline side effects or is it just not working for me? I don’t know whether to try halving or doubling it, or go to the GP and try something different.

Anyone have any experiences like this on it?

Thanks
