Strugglting to complete tasks, especially when there's no due date.

I am finding it so difficult to follow through with things I want and need to get done. What are some ways that you find helpful in finding the will and energy to get up and do a thing?

Make out a list of what you need to do include the time and place. Sometimes I can make errors and in a way my Wife keeps me on the right path

I find writing list extremely helpful. Putting the most important at the top then the second most important and so on. Then I work through the list rewarding myself with small little treats at the end of each one. Something as simple as making your favourite drink and sitting down for five minutes to savour it. Then move on to the next task in hand. Eventually you will be doing 2 or 3 tasks before you reward yourself. It's just getting into a semi routine and getting your life back on track but every little step you take forward is progress. Just remember that.

that’s great advice. Sometimes the smallest of tasks is an achievement especially with anxiety and depression it can make it seem impossible. Rewarding yourself is a good idea

try breaking tasks down to smaller task. Or limit the time you work on something. Promise yourself 15 minutes and that’s it. Over time you will be amazed at what you can accomplish.😉
