I was on Duloxetine for six years (for anxiety and depression), but had such strong side effects: sexual dysfunction, feeling numb all the time (emotionally and physically), obsessing over things, and malaise.
I started Zoloft in late January and am not sure how I am feeling. The side effects have waned (hunger, drowsiness, and feeling nervous), but I am concerned that it is not doing enough for my anxiety. It is 50mg a day.
My question is: has anyone had success on Zoloft? How long did it take for you to notice things are better for you? Side effects? Should I bump up my mg?

I took zoloft 10 years ago for Major depression and anxiety. It helped me so much it has changed my life.i continue to take it daily.
50 mg is a starter dose for your body to get used to it,normally a much higher dose is common.i am on 200mg a day.i would leave it a bit longer to recieve any effects but you would need to get it increased.
