Hello. I am writing because I am in a hard situation. I have recently had some traumatic experiences regarding abuse... and even more recently I am grieving the loss of family. I recently changed my therapist, and it seems that I am not entitled to an appointment that offers me any support until I develop a treatment plan with my therapist. I am frustrated, and on top of that I am late to my appointment with him because my cab service is overbooked. It's been rough day and a rough month. I lost my grandmother recently. I was sexually abused over a week ago, I was also scammed out of $80 recently. This recent death in the family has brought up some old wounds when I lost my youngest aunt to cancer years ago. She died because her husband refused her medical treatment on religious grounds. Yesterday I was riotously angry, but now I'm tired and I want to talk about my experiences, but I don't have many people to rely on.

When I was young I had sexual abuse but pushed it to one side. Sorry for your loss. Don’t get scammed - always say I will think about it before handing over money. I hope you can fight for yourself and not lose sight of the fact that you are important and having time for your feelings. Have compassion for yourself You deserve more and get better. I hope you will get support or therapy you need

Sorry about your loss, I understand you have changed Therapist and now the new Therapist wishes you draw up a treatment plan for your new course of treatment. May I ask was the initial treatment plan is different to the plan you wish to cover in your course of treatment. Sometimes with the shortage of Therapists that can affect your treatment plan especially if the initial course of treatment has been dealt with in the eyes of your original CPN, It would seem they wish you to draw up what you wish to approach and know the best way forward.

Most Courses of treatment consists of ten to twelve sessions, and if they feel you need to move onto a alternative service in Mental health that will be part of how they may be thinking. This is because since Covid treatment is in short supply and they move on accordingly to new patients.

Was your Therapist attached to the any charity or the system a Private Operator in the States

Where you given various tools to control your problems because if that is the case they may be wondering if also treatment has reached its conclusion.

I take it your new course of treatment are additional fears, or are the problems of loosing your Grandma and Sexual Assault, was the offender family and what was the final result of this unfortunate eposode, what was the conclusion of your last course, and what would the new cause cover.

They need to know what you wish to achieve out of the next course. Is this linked in any way to your Health Insurance and what they would allow from a new course of treatment.

My knowledge of the American System is somewhat restricted as I am in the UK
