I think my diagnosis of schizophrenia isn't from (bad) genes or the environment (living in Southern California).
I think I developed this mental disease from the possible situations:
1) Playing soccer: I have played soccer and not having a good diet but pushing myself to perform physically for over 15 years. And playing soccer, you hit the ball with your head. This could have caused unchecked injury which could have led to poor mental health.
2) Taking airplane trips: I have traveled extensively to Hawaii, Denmark, and Australia among other trips. I have had many hours in the air with my head under a lot of cabin pressure at high altitudes, which I think could have led to brain injury and poor mental health from lack of oxygen for years building up.
3) Eating processed foods: I have ate hot Cheetos, McDonalds, and Coca Cola for over 20 years. The sugar, dyes, and GMOs could have led to a very poor diet and poor mental health.
4) Living in a house which isn't Feng Shui: my house wasn't designed well by the architects to create a peaceful design of the spaces. The spaces in the house aren't balanced. The house is 2-story and the spaces are off. Some areas are big, some small...not very well designed to age in or to have children in.
So those are some of my theories to the poor health condition I'm experiencing. History and context are important. It's not like this mental health illness came from no where...genes and environment are points but what about diet, physical demands, and a poor house. Oh, by the way, I live on an American Indian reservation---a well known impoverished living condition and considered the "bottom" in society. This all plays a factor in my poor mental health. I didn't cause myself to have schizophrenia.
